Justin Combs, son of Sean “Diddy” Combs received a full athletic scholarship from UCLA for $54,000. Some are criticizing the situation saying that Justin should not accept the scholarship. If your dad was Sean ‘Diddy” Combs who is according to Forbes Magazine he is one of the wealthiest artists in Hip-Hop, it’s apparent that you do not need the scholarship in order to pursue your education. Why not give the scholarship to someone who really can benefit from it? People get the impression that this scholarship was taking away from those in financial need when it comes to funding for their college education.
A rep from the university tells E! News, “Unlike need-based scholarships, athletic scholarships are awarded to students strictly on the basis of their athletic and academic ability—not their financial need. Athletic scholarships, such as those awarded to football or basketball players, do not rely on state funds. Instead, these scholarships are entirely funded through UCLA Athletics ticket sales, corporate partnerships, media contracts and private donations from supporters.”
Other reports mention that maybe Diddy should give the school a donation in return. What do you think? I understand that the scholarship was not just handed to him. Justin did what he needed to do in order to earn it. Justin graduated from New Rochelle Iona Prep in New York with a 3.75 GPA. He also got scholarship offers from Illinois, Virginia and Wyoming. If you come from a wealthy family that can effortlessly afford to pay for your education, why not consider donating the award to someone who can really benefit from the assistance. I think it would be a very generous gesture if Justin donated his scholarship to someone who can truly benefit and may not have the same opportunity because of their financial situation. We all know that pursing a college education can be very expensive. If you are blessed with a privilege lifestyle and did not have to worry about anything growing up financial wise, why not try and give someone who is in need an opportunity that many strive to achieve. Ochocinco is no longer apart of the New England Patriots. Is that a big surprised? Look at his performance last season. Ochocino caught 15 passes for 276 yards and a touchdown. I’m not the greatest when it comes to following sports but those numbers just sound bad lol. Even though he was with the team for one season and it may not have been one of his best seasons, he did receive $5.7 million.
Chad took to Twitter with the news. He tweeted:

He then changed his job description to “UNEMPLOYED BLACK GUY” and changed his Avatar to a picture of himself sitting on a suitcase at the airport, looking like he’s hitchhiking.
Chad’s fiancé Evelyn Lozada also took to twitter and had this to say, “Aww baby you got cut @ochocinco I got your back! I’m the bread winner now, which means I make the rules!” Some people may see her comment as a hit to his ego. It looks like there is more top Kim Kardashian and Kanye West relationship. West is letting the “mom-a-ger” of the family manager their career. Yes that’s right. Kanye West who has been publicly linked to Kim Kardashian since April has decided to let Jenner manager his career.
According to Media Takeout, The insider explained “Kris [Jenner] is amazing in what she can get. If you’re a [sic] celeb, she can get you big money for tweeting, for sitting at fashion show, for doing interviews … It was an easy sell, Kanye was like ‘sure. But Kris Jenner will reportedly be handling more than just publicity and appearances for Kanye and Kris will be helping Kanye get his DONDA fashion line distributed internationally at major retailers. “That’s where [Kris] can make a fortune of Kanye.” Managers typically take between 20% and 30% of revenue generated by an artist.
Just looking back at the whole relationship since they decided to go public, this can not be more than just a publicity stunt. Once minute, Kim is in love with Kris Humphries and the two get married. After 72 days of being married, the two are no longer right for each other. The he divorce is not even finalized and she is in love and planning a future with West. I know people fall in love fast and they fall hard but come one now. After only 72 days, you end one relationship and jump right into another and all the media attention is on you. Yes I do believe it’s all about wanting that extra attention, especially when the paparazzi is always there when you make every move.
