Investigation Reveals Penn State Administration Disregarded Safety of Sandusky Victims

After an eight month investigation by former FBI director Louis Freeh into what happened on the Penn State campus his findings were released today.

Freeh’s report states Penn State senior leaders disregarded safety, welfare of Jerry Sandusky’s victims. Also that Joe Paterno and others showed “callous and shocking disregard for child victims”.

Along with Paterno, athletic director Tim Curley and vice president Gary Schultz “failed to protect against a child sexual predator harming children for over a decade.”

While the report confirms what many thought, it’s gives the concrete proof, that all parties involved, including the once untouchable Joe Paterno, was also complicit in his involvement.

While this does provide a moment I’d closure for some, it will still leave others asking questions, on how could so many that were thought to have the best interests of kids at heart act so irresponsible.
