Chiefs Fans Start Twitter Account to have GM Scott Pioli Fired

Few teams experience their sports team having success for years and years. Just the way the games go, someone has to lose, and someone has to win.

For Chiefs fans, they’re sick and tired of the losing and have decided to show their frustration and start a Twitter account @SaveOurChiefs.

In over just a few days the account has already garnered 75,000 followers and 800 tweets deep.

Aside from pushing for the firing of Scott Pioli, they’ve also been the voice of fans have been blocked by the Kansas City Chiefs team account.

The Chiefs seem to be in quite a conundrum, as is has been rumored that they’re going to offer Pioli a contract extension even though the team hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2010, and have had only 1 winning season going back to 2007.

We’ll see who wins this battle, the fans or ownership, but considering that fans most likely won’t stop coming to the stadium in effort to show their frustration, I’m putting my money on the owner.
