Andrew Luck Breaks Rookie Passing Record

Indianapolis Could quarterback today made history  throwing the most yards my a rookie, breaking the less than one year old record of 4,051 set last season by Cameron Newton.

Luck broke the record on a drive in which he led the Colts to a friend goal to give them a 13-3 lead over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Luck currently has the Colts in prime position to make the playoffs after the team went 2-14 last season. A win over the Chiefs and they will clinch their playoff berth.

Luck finished the game with 4,183 yards in a 2013 victory against the Chiefs. While breaking the rookie passing record, Luck also led the Colts to clinch a playoff berth and is in the contention for the Rookie of the Year award. With seeding still up in the air, Luck will have one more week to make his case for ROY which is a three man race between him, Robert Griffin III and Russell Wilson.
