Tuesday January 8 against the Houston Rockets Steve Nash became 5th all time on the assist list as well as being the only the 5th player all time to notch 10,000 assist.

Nash over has a career average of 8.6 assist per game and had led the league in assist 6 times, finishing top 5 in assist 9 times total.

He’s had no less than 600 total assist in a season side 2003-2003 when he accumulated 598.

Nash is only behind Jason Kidd (#2, 11,969) and John Stockton (#1,15,806).

Steve Nash ranks number 2 among active players.
