According to Dj Battecats’ camp the famed music producer Kevin Gilliam better known as DJ Battlecat, has suffered a heart attack the morning of July 25 at the age of 45.
Reps for Battlecat did note the he’s in good spirits and the blockage was caught early and he’s expected to make a full recovery.
Dj Battlecat has worked with many artist from hip hop and r&b including
Talib Kweli, Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, Deborah Cox, Kenny Lattimore, Brian McKnight, including underground artist from Akron, Ohio, Kahsyno.
