The Mentor Cardinals hosted the Twinsburg Tigers Friday night in a revenge game in which both teams had something to play for.
Cardinals were playing for the chance to have home field advantage and to avenge a 38-35 loss to the Tigers last year that derailed them from having an undefeated season.
The Twinsburg Tigers were playing for their playoff lives. Needing a win and some help to have any hope of reaching the playoffs, or lose and you’re out.
