According to Yahoo! Sports Blake Griffin injured his right knee during an Olympic scrimmage in Las Vegas.
Speculation is, it’s the same knee Griffin hurt in the playoffs during the Spurs series.
With Griffin on his way back to Los Angeles to have an MRI to examine how bad he’s inured, New Orleans Hornets rookie Anthony Davis has been summoned and will take Griffins’place.
Perhaps this is a blessing on disguise for the Clipper organization and fans, with his past knee injury, it may be best he give his body a rest, especially considering he just came of a jam packed 66 game season.
